Beveco adopts Chimpanzee at Artis
For 13 years we have had a relationship with ARTIS. By adopting an animal, we support ARTIS with their conservation projects and also make a social contribution to our capital city.
The last few years that was a camel. Unfortunately, the last camel in Artis died at the beginning of this year due to old age.
As of 2022, we have adopted a Chimpanzee. The Chimpanzee is an intelligent noisy great ape, living in the forests. They are smart, resourceful and very social. They live in extended family groups, forming close bonds with 20 to sometimes as many as 150 members.

The DNA of chimpanzees is about 98.8% similar to that of humans.
